Well if any of you guys saw the fights last night (or this night to be exact) you know why I am disappointed. Alex lost his fight even though he did a good job and the maincard was just a disgrace! You`ll have to watch it yourselves but I went to bed a bit pissed off, probably because I was so stoked about the event. It´s always like that with things you build up, or not always but alot of times. Let`s hope the next event is better, Alex will be back soon also. I feel real bad for the guy, it`s his first loss and that always stings.
It is like that sometimes though and you never know what goes on behind the scenes, if someone is sick, anything has happened befoe or during the night, the nervs got to you, you lost focus etc....it`s the same thing as a rock show, people are very fast at pointing fingers and running their mouth but they never know what it`s like to be there!
The funny thing is that after things like this you always hear things from random people like "he sucked" "he could have done that", "he should have done that" "bullshit, bullshit" etc. and it`s always from people who don`t know what it`s like, who sit at home in their safe little havens and are "experts".
Like the soccerdads to those asshole kids in your school when you where a kid: Filled with opinions, tactics...yelling and critiquing all the time...
Noone ever asked them "Well, what do you know? You have failed miserably in everything you`ve tried to accomplish. You are just a dead waste of space, a negative asshole with no right to speak. Who are you to judge? Judge the people who have the guts to stand in front of thousands of people and do what they love, leaving themselves vulnerable. Those who spend all their life sacrificing time and energy and put themselves out there while you stand on the sideline and judge."
I know the feeling, trust me. The world is filled with judgemental, jealous and ignorant people. Especially on the internet, where noone will ask the types of questions I wrote above...Who are you to judge? Do you know what it´s like?
Hiding behind the screen, acting tough...it`s just sad really!
So ask those questions before you pass a quick judgement!
And if you don`t know what it´s like, then maybe you should try to accomplish the same thing yourself? Then you can try to judge.
Peace
